Phil works on location with Alpine Oasis in the French Alps to deliver engaging and informative courses filming and photography courses. For many years, Phil has been delivering film production and photographic tuition through a range of courses and workshops at various events and locations both nationally and internationally. Phil was Head of the West Herts Media Centre a digital production and training facility based at Leavesden Film Studios where he developed and delivered production training courses to industry professionals and Further Education and Higher education students. Phil was also part of the strategy development team working with the UK Film Council and worked with other media professionals to try and secure Centre of Vocational Excellence (COVE) status and ultimately Skillset Screen Academy status for the Media Centre.

Phil has also been visiting guest lecturer at Birmingham City College and the University of West of England.

 

At Sony Broadcast Phil was actively involved in both the strategic development and the delivery of innovative ways to communicate the value of new digital production technology. Presenting seminars and workshops across the UK and Europe Phil would regularly present complex technical information, translating it into a language that even a television producer could understand
