Phil has a respectable reputation of delivering personalised instruction helping people develop their filmmaking and photographic skills in a fun and rewarding way.Phil has designed and delivered adventure imaging courses for a wide range of students from beginners and enthusiastic amateurs to industry professionals.
Each course is carefully designed to meet the needs of the group what ever standard they may be. Courses are run in a variety of locations and can be based in Phil’s studio in Cambridge, on a mountain side in the French Alps with Alpine Oasis

When working with film and photography professionals Phil focuses on delivering the skills on how to cope with rigours and comfortably work In extreme and challenging environments. Location Photography Courses
Phil works on location with Alpine Oasis in the French Alps to deliver engaging and informative courses filming and photography courses. For many years, Phil has been delivering film production and photographic tuition through a range of courses and workshops at various events and locations both nationally and internationally. West Herts Media Centre
Phil was Head of the West Herts Media Centre a digital production and training facility based at Leavesden Film Studios where he developed and delivered production training courses to industry professionals and Further Education and Higher education students. Phil was also part of the strategy development team working with the UK Film Council and worked with other media professionals to try and secure Centre of Vocational Excellence (COVE) status and ultimately Skillset Screen Academy status for the Media Centre.
Guest Lecturing
Phil has also been visiting guest lecturer at Birmingham City College and the University of West of England.
Sony Broadcast
At Sony Broadcast Phil was actively involved in both the strategic development and the delivery of innovative ways to communicate the value of new digital production technology. Presenting seminars and workshops across the UK and Europe Phil would regularly present complex technical information, translating it into a language that even a television producer could understand
